A note from the author: The Wife, while fictional, was inspired by true events. As a police officer and social worker, the I was faced with case after case that left me incredulous as to the harm sexual predators chose to inflict on their victims. The story reflects that reality.
The book contains content that some readers will find upsetting from the start.
