“Book Descriptions: This is a “what if” that looks at what the Bennet’s life would have been like if unlike cannon they had sons. How would the parents have been different and what kind of life would the family have? In many Pride and Prejudice variations the Bennet parents are portrayed as borderline neglectful with Mr. Bennet caring only about making fun of others, reading and drinking his port while shutting himself away in his study. Mrs. Bennet is often shown as flighty, unintelligent and a character to laugh at. In this book, some of those traits are present, but we see what a different set of circumstances, namely the birth of sons does to the parents and the family as a whole. Most of the characters from cannon are here along with some new characters to help broaden the story. The normal villains are present and I trust that you, my dear reader, will like the way that they are 'rewarded' in my story. We find a much stronger and more resolute Bingley. Jane Bennet is serene, but not without a steely resolve. I feel that both need to be portrayed with more strength of character for the purposes of this book.” DRIVE
