Toby and I are two years apart, and I’ve missed him like crazy for the last couple of years, what with me away at university and Tobes still living at home to finish up high school. But now he’s graduated and decided on the same school I attend, the University of Calgary, and I couldn’t be happier.
The plan is to head home, spend a week with my family, then bring Toby back here and help him get settled into the dorms. And spending the last night before we leave playing drinking games with both our girlfriends sounds like the perfect send off, right?
Wrong.
Toby’s girlfriend is not happy about him choosing a different school than her, and my girlfriend…
Well, let’s just say her greatest joy in life is to be a shit stirrer.
So I guess it’s no surprised that when we start up a game of Truth or Dare, things go a little bit sideways.
Toby really can’t handle his alcohol, his girlfriend gets in a catfight with mine, and when I accept a dare that I really shouldn’t, I discover something about my little brother that I never would have guessed.
Toby likes it when I kiss him. A lot.
And I fucking like it, too.
So when seeing the two of us go at it pisses off the girlfriends enough that they leave us, we’ve really got no reason to stop.
Clearly, neither one of us is as straight as we originally thought, and with that road trip still ahead of us, who knows what might happen…”
