Ripley Pitt is a mechanic in the terraformed space colony of New Eden. He should be celebrating Christmas military leave with his half-brother, Archimedes, but word comes through last minute that he's been stationed elsewhere.
There's unrest in New Eden; unhappy citizens and dying crops. Christmas Day turns into a quiet rebellion as Ripley and Archimedes plan what to do with the others. Tension and emotions run high as they discover more about their relationship with each other and how rebellion can bring them closer to happiness the Commonwealth seems hell-bent on stealing from them.”
