BOOK 17: IN CAMERA
Robert Hall interviews for a job at Keith Calder’s gun shop and reveals he witnessed a deal for an assassination weapon. Sergeant Ian Fellowes goes undercover to investigate and immediately finds himself mixed up with a kidnapping gang. He must rely on Calder’s help to stop the gang before they succeed.
BOOK 18: SNATCH CROP
Young Delia Thrower has been kidnapped and Calder’s daughter Deborah is on the case. Delia’s parents are in the midst of a messy divorce and her father is the prime suspect. But Deborah is not convinced. Deborah sets out to find the truth and becomes a target for the kidnappers too. Calder is now in a race against time to rescue his daughter before she meets a terrible fate.
BOOK 19: THIN AIR
Old Murdo, a short-tempered farmer, is found with a bullet through his head. DI Fellowes is baffled. Old Murdo had plenty of enemies so there’s no shortage of suspects, but all have a solid alibi. Fellowes must rely on Calder’s firearms expertise to catch the murderer.

Calder’s daughter Deborah and her Uncle Ronnie are out culling foxes when a shadowy figure rushes them. Then a gamekeeper is shot on the same land. Deborah and Ronnie think they’ve caught a poacher but prints on Ronnie’s gun reveal something more sinister. Is their “catch” the perpetrator of a notorious murder that has never been solved?

Wallace James has a heart attack and is under orders to rest. Holed up in his flat, James is given a short-wave radio to keep in contact with Calder’s gun shop. That’s how he overhears a blackmail plot involving the local solicitor and MP, and the drowning of a fisherman up in the lowlands. James and his wife are pulled into a complex plot that puts them in serious danger.

A money-launderer has been using Calder’s gun shop to make his money ‘legal’. Then Calder’s family home is raided, leaving him and his brother-in-law in hospital and his valuable gun room empty. Deborah and DI Fellowes follow the trail to the missing guns. It also leads them to the murderer — who will stop at nothing to stay hidden.”
