They got back to the house in record time, thanks to Alrik's determination to get her naked as quickly as possible. As they were stepping out of the car, he took her hand and started walking her to the front door. “I'll have a fire built for us in the bedroom.” Morgan giggled at the man and stopped in mid-stride.
“Alrik, do you know why I like fires?” He smiled and cocked his head slightly in question. “They're nice to look at, and they keep me warm.” When he didn't respond, she continued. “You're nice to look at, and I'm sure you could keep me warm.” Morgan didn't wait for it to register, she pulled on the front of his coat as she walked backwards, then turned around quickly and ran through the snow, all the way to the back of the house.
