“Book Descriptions: The purpose of this book is to introduce the Western audiences to the most important issues pertaining to Ramadan and all the acts of worship we do in this month.
The issues begin with the history of how Ramadan became an obligation on the Muslims and the different stages that the Companions of the Prophet went through until Ramadan became as we know it now.
After we have an understanding of the development of the obligation of Ramadan, the reader is taken through all the important issues from the beginning of Ramadan to the last hour of the day of Eid.
I added one bonus chapter dealing with the Salaf's reading of the Quran. This chapter, which is the final chapter in the book, will give the reader a glimpse into the seriousness the Salaf had with the reciting of the Quran inside and outside of Ramadan.
The book is set up in a question-and-answer format to provide the reader with the questions that are constantly asked about Ramadan. Each question is answered with the strongest opinion of the scholars of Hadith and with evidence provided.
May Allah make this book a benefit for my brothers and sisters in the West! I hope any questions you have about Ramadan are answered in this book.”
